Mary De Rose

Mary graduated from York University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. In 2000, she attended law school in London, England, where she completed her first year of study. In her second year, she transferred to Osgoode Hall Law School and obtained her LL.B. in 2003. Mary was called to the bar in 2004 and at that time, De Rose and Associates' paralegal office became a personal injury litigation boutique.

Mary’s practice focuses primarily on motor vehicle accidents, disability insurance, occupier’s liability and negligence. Mary is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, The Advocate’s Society, the American Association for Justice and the Italian Canadian Lawyers Association.
Jeremy Solomon

From 1998 until 2000, Jeremy specialized in the area of insurance litigation, primarily defending bodily injury actions and statutory accident benefits claims. In September 2000 Jeremy changed his practice to plaintiff bodily injury litigation. Since January 2006, he has been acting as litigation counsel for a variety of law firms who represent plaintiffs in bodily injury litigation. Jeremy also represents individual clients in a similar capacity.

Jeremy is certified with the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in civil litigation since 2004, obtained a Masters of Law Degree from Osgoode Hall in 2001, and is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
Michelle Jorge

Michelle received an Honours B.A. in psychology from York University in 2000. She received her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003 and was called to the bar in 2004. Michelle’s practice focuses on resolving personal injury claims arising out of motor vehicle collisions, occupier’s liability, and long-term disability claims.

Michelle is a director with the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and is a past chair of the New Lawyers Division. Michelle is also a member of The Advocate's Society, the Portuguese Canadian Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
Amin Sachedina

Amin studied aeronautical engineering in Oxford, U.K., graduating with honours in 1986. After working as an airworthiness and aircraft inspector for many years, Amin decided to study law. He graduated from law school in 1996 and was called to the Ontario Bar Association in 1998. Prior to joining the team at De Rose Barristers and Solicitors, Amin practiced in various areas of law including intellectual property, commercial litigation, contracts, libel and slander (defamation), and employment law. At De Rose Barristers and Solicitors, Amin practices law in the areas of personal injury and wrongful dismissal.
Fred May

Fred May became a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada in 1990 and was one of the youngest individuals to ever earn that designation. He completed the Canadian Securities course in 1992 and received his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall in 1996. He was called to the bar in 1998. Fred is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.

Fred exclusively practises plaintiff-based personal injury law. He represents plaintiffs in all areas of personal injury law, including occupier’s liability, product liability, life and disability claims, as well as motor vehicle claims.
Lesley Van Wynsberghe

Lesley joined DeRose as an associate in 2008. Lesley has appeared as counsel at the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She has also acted as counsel at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal and the Canada Pension Review Tribunal.

Lesley's practice includes acting for plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including motor vehicle collisions, slip and falls, and long-term disability claims. Lesley is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Women Trial Lawyers Caucus, and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
