Complex laws and strict deadlines are common to personal injury cases involving motor vehicle accidents. Let an experienced De Rose lawyer effectively put together your case so that you can receive compensation and a sense of relief.
Statutory Accident Benefits
Ontario has a no-fault compensation scheme for accident benefits. A variety of benefits may be available to you, regardless of who is responsible for the accident.
Income Replacement
When you are injured and unable to work, you may be entitled to receive up to 80 per cent of your net weekly income, to a maximum of $400 per week, unless optional coverage is purchased, in which case the amount covered by your insurance company is higher.
By exclusively practising personal injury litigation, a highly qualified member of the De Rose team will be at your side to guide you.
Non-Earner
This benefit entitles the person to receive a minimum Non-Earner Benefit of $185 per week if they were not employed or were attending school at the time of the accident.
Caregiver
If you were the primary caregiver for a person in need of care, this benefit may entitle you to receive up to $250 per week plus $50 for each additional person requiring care.
Medical and Rehabilitation
This benefit entitles you to receive reasonable and necessary rehabilitation and medical expenses as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Attendant Care
This benefit entitles you to receive personal care service as assessed periodically following a motor vehicle accident.
Funeral and Death
In tragic circumstances, a person may lose a spouse or family member. During this difficult time we can ensure that appropriate compensation is received.
Housekeeping and Home Maintenance
This benefit provides reimbursement for housekeeping and home maintenance expenses.
Making A Claim Against The At-Fault Driver
If you have been involved in a motor vehicle collision, you may commence a lawsuit against the at-fault driver for pain, suffering and financial loss.
The lawyers at De Rose Barristers & Solicitors will explain your legal rights and will work to maximize all potential compensation.
